Crock-Pot Apple Pie Cake
There are many desserts that are made with a simple boxed yellow cake mix. The ease of these desserts and the variety of flavors and types make them a popular type of recipe to make. Everyone loves them and anyone can make them and it is kind of hard to mess it up
This is one of those recipes. A simple cake mix and some fresh apples and a few other ingredients and you have a dessert. Don’t feel like peeling some apples and slicing them? Substitute canned apple pie filling for the apple mixture. Just one less step to complete and the canned filling is just as good in my opinion.
With many boxed cake desserts, this can be doubled or tripled with ease. I love taking desserts to family functions or potlucks and this is one that everyone would love.
You can also cook this in the oven. 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes in a 9×13 baking dish.
