Crock-Pot Banana Jam

My kids love trying new homemade jams that I make. I try to make jam once a month. Then we pig out on the jams in the morning on our toast, biscuits and sometimes even on our pancakes and waffles! This banana jam is one of our favorites and the end result is very tasty and delicious. I loved it on a piece of toast.

Only 3 ingredients to make this delicious jam recipe in the slow cooker.

3 medium size bananas (I prefer ones with minimal brown spots on them) mashed in a bowl. Add the bananas, sugar and the lemon juice to a 3 qt or larger slow cooker. Allow the slow cooker to make the jam. You want to stir it occasionally to mix the sugar and the bananas together.

I was right at one hour and 30 minutes for the jam to be done. You do not want to cook it any more than 2 hours. If the bananas begin to turn brown, the jam has cooked too long.

Store in a jar with a secure lid in the refrigerator. This jam is very good and almost addicting. Great on toast or even an English muffin!
