Crock-Pot Best Ever Chili
Chili is a staple in my house during the cold months. A nice big bowl of hot chili served with a side of buttered saltine crackers! I remember growing up and my grandmother putting butter on her saltine crackers. She would make 10 or so and set them on the side of her plate and I would watch her as she dipped them in her soup or chili. Sometimes she would share them with my sisters and I and sometimes we would make our own. I loved to just snack on the butter saltines.
Brown the beef, onion and garlic on the stove top. Then combine all the ingredients in a 5 qt or larger slow cooker and allow the cooker to do the rest of the work. The nice thing about chili is it is hard to make it wrong.
