Crock-Pot Chicken and Gravy
Simple and tasty slow cooker meal to make in the crock-pot. My kids love this meal and well, I love it too because it is easy to make and frees up my time to do other things.
I like to make this meal with a side of mashed potatoes. My kids like the gravy portion mixed with mashed potatoes. If mashed potatoes are not your thing, fresh baked biscuits can be substituted. I like to cut the biscuits in half and spoon the chicken and gravy over the top of the biscuits.
Remember, chicken needs to be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Use a meat thermometer to check your chicken prior to removing it from the slow cooker. But, do not cook it too much longer then the recommended time. Chicken will “dry out” in the slow cooker.
