Crock-Pot French Toast Casserole
This is one of my favorite casseroles to make in the slow cooker. Slices of French bread make this casserole. This hard crust bread keeps its shape and allows you to have “slices” in the casserole. I make this casserole the night before cooking it. First thing in the morning, I pop it in the slow cooker base and allow the slow cooker to do the work. By the time my kids are up and moving, breakfast is ready.
Sprinkle a little powder sugar over the top before serving and you will have a family favorite!
This can also be cooked in the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Use a well greased 9×13 baking pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the center has set.
