Crock-Pot Honey Garlic Chicken

Sweet taste of honey and garlic make this chicken moist and tasty! I used chicken quarters on this recipe, but you can use any cut of chicken that you prefer. If you use a cut of chicken without a bone, like boneless chicken breasts, this will change the cooking time. The chicken will cook quicker then chicken with bone in.

Remember, the internal temperature of chicken should be 135 degrees for the chicken to be cooked. You can check this with a meat thermometer prior to removing the chicken from the slow cooker.

This Crock-Pot Honey Garlic Chicken is great for leftovers and even better for chicken sandwiches the next day. Remove all the chicken meat from the bone. Toasted sour dough bread, a little mayonnaise, tomato and lettuce and you have lunch!

Freezer Meal Crock-Pot Honey Garlic Chicken:  Label a gallon size ziploc with the recipe name and cook time. Add all the ingredients to the ziploc. Press as much air out of the bag as possible and seal. Lay the bag flat and freeze.

Remove the bag from the freezer the night before cooking. Thaw in the refrigerator in a bowl. Dump the contents of the bag into the slow cooker and cook according to the instructions.
