Crock-Pot Honey Sesame Chicken
An easy chicken recipe to make in the slow cooker. Chicken comes out tender and tasty. Chicken is one of the easiest items to cook in a slow cooker. The chicken comes out tasting very tasty and moist. You can serve it whole, sliced, shredded or cubed.
This Crock-Pot Honey Sesame Chicken is easy to make. My kids actually liked it!! They tend to be very picky.
What to serve it with?
- white or wild rice
- egg noodles
- mashed potatoes
- sliced and in a salad!
Storing after cooked
Any leftovers need to be store in an air tight container (plastic or ziploc) in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. This can also be frozen for up to 3 months.

Crock-Pot Honey Sesame Chicken
Ingredients
- 4-6 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1 small Yellow Onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- Add the chicken to a 4 qt or 5 qt slow cooker.
- In a medium mixing bowl, mix the onion, garlic, honey, ketchup, soy sauce, vegetable oil and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
- Pour the liquid over the top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken, slice the chicken or use a fork to shred.
- Put the chicken back into the sauce. Serve over rice and sprinkle the sesame seeds over the top.
