Crock-Pot Honey Teriyaki Chicken
I love making chicken in the slow cooker. Chicken is one of the most versatile meats to cook.
Flavors combine in the slow cooker to make this chicken moist and yummy! Serve over rice with sprinkled sesame seeds over the top and a side of sliced veggies. I sliced the chicken for serving. I have served the chicken whole, sliced, chopped or even shredded. Pour a little of the juices over the top for added flavor.
Chicken needs to be cooked to an internal temperature of 135 degrees. Check this temperature with a meat thermometer prior to removing from the slow cooker. Older slow cookers cook at a lower temperature and this can alter the cooking time.
