Breakfast Bakes are easy to make and the variety of ingredients make them able to satisfy just about anyone.  Sausage makes this very tasty. I love making a variety of these breakfast bakes and serving them for brunch for the family.

Mix all the ingredients and add to the slow cooker. Allow the cooker to prepare the breakfast.

You can use a spoon to serve out of the slow cooker. Or if you prefer, line the slow cooker with parchment paper. Once the breakfast bake is cooked, just remove the bake by the parchment paper. Slice and serve.

The nice thing about any breakfast bake is the ability to change it up to your liking. Add in your favorite breakfast ingredients!

  • Sliced cooked bacon
  • chopped tomatoes, green peppers, onions
  • shredded mozzarella, Monterey Jack, Pepper Jack or even a Mexican blend

Make this breakfast bake the night before. Turn on the slow cooker and cook in the morning. Sausage Breakfast Bake in the slow cooker.

  • 1/2 Pound Italian Sausage cooked and drained
  • 3/4 Cup All Purpose White Flour
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 1 Medium Egg
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese


  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder and garlic powder.
  • Add in milk and the egg and stir well.
  • Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a 4 qt or larger crock-pot.
  • Cover and Cook on HIGH for 3 hours or until the middle has set.
