  1. On the stove top, sear the outside of the roast.
  2. Add the roast, beer and onion to a 4 qt or larger crock-pot.
  3. Cover and Cook on LOW for 6 hours.
  4. Shred the roast with a fork and add in the BBQ sauce.
  5. Cook on additional 2 hours on LOW.
  6. Serve on toasted buns.
