Instructions
  1. Add the onions to the bottom of a 5 qt or larger slow cooker.
  2. Place the beef chuck roast on top of the onions.
  3. Layer the potatoes around the roast.
  4. In a small bowl, add the spices and mix. Sprinkle spices over the roast and potatoes.
  5. Pour the beef stock in and around the roast.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours.
  7. Serve.
