Crock-Pot Cabbage Roll Soup

- 1 Pound Extra Lean Ground Beef
- 1 Medium Yellow Onion Diced
- 2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
- 5 Cups Green Cabbage coarseley chopped and stems removed
- 5 Cups Beef Broth
- 1 24 oz Tomato Juice
- 1/2 Cup Uncooked Long Grain White Rice
- 1 Whole Bay Leaf
- 3 Tablespoons Light or Dark Brown Sugar packed
On the stove top, brown the ground beef, garlic and onion until the ground beef is cooked and the onions are translucent. Drain any drippings.
Add the ground beef and remaining ingredients to a 5 qt or 6 qt slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours.
Remove the bay leaf and serve.
