Crock-Pot Baked Apples
Sweet baked apples made in the crock-pot. Great for a tasty side dish for dinner or topped with vanilla ice cream for a delicious dessert.

- 3 Pounds Granny Smith or Fuji Apples
- 1/2 Cup Granulated White Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Light or Dark Brown
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
- 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter cut into two pieces
Wash, core, slice and peel the apples and add the apple slices to the bottom of a 4 qt or larger crock-pot.
In a bowl, mix white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add the dry ingredients to the crock-pot and toss the apples to coat them evenly.
Add the butter tabs to the crock-pot.
Cover with the lid slightly ajar on LOW for 6 hours. Stirring at least once midway during the cooking process.
