- 5 Cups Fresh Blueberries
- 1 Cup Granulated White Sugar
- 2 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice PLUS zest from one lemon
In a blender, puree the blueberries.
Add the pureed blueberries, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice and the lemon zest to a 4 qt crock-pot.
Cook with the lid slightly ajar on LOW for 4 hours or until the mixture thickens.
Will make one pint jar of blueberry butter.
Store in the refrigerator until used.
