In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Dip each slice of french bread in the egg mixture and arrange in a casserole crock-pt in two rows.
Pour any remaining liquid mixture over the top of the bread.
Next, mix the cinnamon topping ingredients in a bowl.
Spread the cinnamon mixture evenly over the bread.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours or until the bread in the middle is cooked.

Notes
This can also be cooked in the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Use a well greased 9x13 baking pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the center has set.
