In a bowl, mix pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
Pour the batter mixture in a 4 qt or larger crock-pot.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the batter.
Add melted butter evenly over the top of the dry cake mix.
Cover and Cook on HIGH for 2 hours.
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
Notes
This recipe can also be made in the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Use a well greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the middle has set.
