Crock-Pot Honey Garlic Chicken
Sweet taste of honey and garlic make a moist and tasty chicken. Easy to make in the slow cooker.
- 2 pounds chicken quarters
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
In a medium mixing bowl, mix soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic and basil.
Add the chicken the the bottom of a 4 qt or 5 qt slow cooker.
Pour the liquid over the top of the chicken.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6 hours.
Serve with rice with the extra juices spooned on top of the chicken.
Freezer Meal: Label a gallon size ziploc with the recipe name and cook time. Add all the ingredients to the ziploc. Press as much air out of the bag as possible and seal. Lay the bag flat and freeze.
Remove the bag from the freezer the night before cooking. Thaw in the refrigerator in a bowl. Dump the contents of the bag into the slow cooker and cook according to the instructions.
