Crock-Pot Hot Buttered Rum

Hot Buttered Rum is a classic holiday beverage simmered in the slow cooker all day. Top with whipped cream when served.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups Water
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 6 whole Cloves
  • 3 whole Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 2 cups spiced rum
  • Whipped Cream

Instructions
 

  • Add the water, butter, cloves, cinnamon, and brown sugar to a 5 qt or 6 qt slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours.
  • Stir in the spiced rum.
  • Serve in cups topped with whipped cream.
